On behalf of the Sovereign Order of Malta, H.E. Michel Veuthey and Dott. Emanuele Giorgio Piluso participated in the Organizational Meeting of the 54th Regular Session of Human Rights Council that took place on Monday 28 of August. The Ambassador to monitor and combat trafficking in persons intervened pointing out that a side-event on “Raising Awareness on Contemporary Slavery” will be held on 20 September from 3 to 4 p.m. in Room XXV at the Palais des Nations in Geneva. This event is organised by the Order of Malta, IOM and the Permanent Mission of the Dominican Republic.
