On the occasion of the 60th session of the UN Human Rights Council, H.E. Ambassador Michel Veuthey moderated a panel on “Family as a Primary Cornerstone: Upholding Parental Roles in Ensuring the Right to Education”, organised with the FAFCE, the Permanent Mission of the Holy See to the UN in Geneva and OIDEL. The Permanent Representative of Hungary in Geneva, H.E. Zsófia Havasi, was also among the panelists.
In his introductory remarks, Ambassador Michel Veuthey took the opportunity to emphasize the role of Education as well as Family in preventing and combating human trafficking.
The event was also the perfect opportunity to highlight the importance of family in shaping a better society.
